Why Reverence Exists
Built From the Inside
Kaleb Montgomery-Reid grew up syilx, from the Lower Similkameen. He saw what most basketball camps miss. they show up once, then disappear, leaving nothing behind. Reverence Basketball was built to be different: a program that returns to the same communities, camp after camp, year after year, run by people who understand what these communities need because they grew up in them.

Every camp is built on a player development curriculum Kaleb has taught to every coach who runs a Reverence session, the same approach used working with multiple D1 and U Sports athletes.
Through a growing partnership with Okanagan College. Postsecondary Indigenous athletes work alongside every camp as mentors, giving younger players a real bridge into college and university basketball. Those partnerships grow year by year, expanding to match every new region we work in.
